Chief Executive Officer
With more than 30 years experience in the technology market, Adam Klaber has held a range of senior management positions. Prior to his current position as CEO of Performance Matters, he served as managing director at Weld North, overseeing and guiding the firm’s educational technology business in their use of social, mobile, analytical, and cloud technologies to enhance operational performance and growth. Prior to Weld North, Adam served as a senior executive with IBM, holding a variety of positions including the Manager Partner of Global Consulting and the General Manager Global Business Services for Southwest Europe and Latin America. Adam joined IBM in 2002 through the acquisition of PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting where he was the managing partner responsible for establishing and leading the firm’s global customer relationship management practice. Adam graduated with a B.A. from the University of Hartford and a M.B.A. from Columbia University.
- Adam lived in Argentina and, while his Spanish is still terrible, he can order a great Malbec perfectly.
- He’s a proud New Yorker who intensely follows the Yankees and his favorite day of the year is Marathon Sunday when the whole city comes out to celebrate its diversity.
Chief Product Officer
Jeanette Haren founded Truenorthlogic in 2000 and has spent the last 16 years working directly with leading school districts across the country to define and develop professional growth systems to meet K-12 specific needs. Under Jeanette’s leadership, Truenorthlogic created a one-of-a-kind comprehensive approach to support the cycle of continuous educator improvement and its connection to student achievement. She has decades of experience leading teams in the design, implementation and deployment of education software. Prior to Truenorthlogic, Jeanette was director of product architecture at Campus Pipeline and software development manager at Utah Education Network. Jeanette graduated with a B.S. from the University of Utah.
- Jeanette married a Frenchman who moved from Paris to SLC to marry her.
- She owns a deaf Yorkie name Gracie nicknamed Piranha due to her biting habit.
Senior Vice President
With over 25 years experience in multiple capacities of public education, Amy Wieland has valuable experience as a teacher, school leader, technology facilitator, and curriculum specialist in Sarasota County Schools. While in Sarasota, she served as the Project Manager for deployment of an Instructional and Assessment Management System, experience which serves her well in her current position. Her career contains numerous honors including multiple Teacher of the Year Awards, Authentic Assessment Multi Media Award, Pearson’s Cross Divisional Communications Award and President’s Award both at Pearson and McGraw Hill. Amy holds both a Bachelor and Master of Education degree from the University of South Florida.
- Amy once swam 200 laps butterfly to raise money for her swim team (200x 25 yards)
- She also held the obstacle course record at her elementary school for 25 years
VP Human Resources
Tina Sergakis joined Performance Matters in 2006. As a senior HR professional with more than 20 years’ experience, she has spent the last eleven years helping the company define and establish its best practices for human resources. With the goal of continually increasing employee satisfaction, Tina’s primary focus is on initiatives that support and build the most important aspect of the organization, the people. Prior to Performance Matters, Tina was the Administrative Manager at Nichols Photo Lab, Inc. Tina is native to Salt Lake City, Utah.
- Tina is passionate about service and philanthropy and currently serve as the President of Saint Anna’s Women’s Ministry.
- She’s a fanatic lover of football, and her favorite NCAA team is the University of Utah, her alma mater. When it comes to the NFL, Tina’s all about the Green Bay Packers, because, hey, what’s not to like about cheese!
Matt (m@) McGhie
Matt has spent his 20-year career at the intersection of product, sales, and marketing for emerging (start-up) technology companies. Prior to his role as VP of Marketing with Performance Matters, Matt spent 6 years marketing education technology solutions built for K-12 and Higher Ed. In that time he was responsible for building global marketing operations for his company which included field offices in UK, Amsterdam, Australia and Hong Kong. Matt has a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Utah.
- Matt was once fluent in Icelandic.
- He has a (self-taught) B.S. in memes.
Director of Alliances & Strategic Initiatives
Jamison Silvester is involved in all of the firm’s growth and development related activities, including third party partnerships, M&A, operational initiatives and market strategy. Jamison’s career has included a range of positions of increasing responsibility throughout the technology sector — spanning software, hardware, digital commodities, consumer electronics and just about everything in between. Prior to joining Performance Matters, Jamison was with Intel Corporation, serving in Operations, Strategy and Business Development roles. Jamison graduated from Brigham Young University, with a B.A. in Economics and holds an M.B.A. from University of California, Davis.
- Jamison is a trained Master Gardener.
- He is a huge fan of the Utah Jazz.
Chief Financial Officer
David Alderslade has more than 25 years of professional and managerial experience in international financial services in Europe, Asia, and the United States. Before joining Performance Matters, David held other senior positions including Managing Director and CFO at Richmond Park Partners, a London-based independent merchant bank, Global Business Manager for Corporate Finance and Origination at Dresdner Kleinwort, Head of Finance at Commerzbank AG London for both the Investment Bank and London Branch, and Head of Financial Reporting and Head of Financial Markets Product Control at ING Barings.
He qualified as an accountant with KPMG and is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants. David holds a BS in Business Management from the University of Waikato, New Zealand.
VP Customer Support and Data Services
Nick Coniglio has been with Performance Matters since April 2007. Nick has been involved in a leadership capacity in many facets of our organization including Engineering, Customer Support and Services. For the last five years, his teams have been responsible for implementing and supporting Performance Matters products. Prior to Performance Matters, Nick served as VP of Consulting for an analytics and business intelligence company in Atlanta, GA. Nick graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Oswego.
- Nick has been married for 15 years and has a 13-year-old son.
- He fills his free time with golf and watching his son play travel soccer.
Customer Success Officer
Justin Serrano is the former CEO of Generation Ready. He previously served as President of Kaplan’s K12 and College Prep and was responsible for having driven a new SAT/ACT strategy that propelled Kaplan to the leading market position in 2010. He also served as President of SCORE! Educational Centers, a subsidiary of Kaplan, where he created groundbreaking software that enabled a completely integrated offline/online tutoring model featuring adaptive online instruction, automated teacher lesson plans, and real time parent reporting. Prior to his management role at SCORE!, Serrano oversaw Kaplan Test Prep’s graduate business where he led the integration of official test maker content into Kaplan’s courses.
- Justin graduated with a B.S. From Cornell University and an M.B.A. From Harvard Business School.
Woody Dillaha co-founded the original Performance Matters with James Waters in 2003. Under his leadership, Performance Matters established a culture of technical innovation and a passion for education. His vision has established Performance Matters as a leader in the K-12 education market and has been the catalyst for the sustained growth and profitability of the company. Woody is well known and respected within the education community as a thought leader in the use of sophisticated analysis systems to inform educational decisions. Prior to Performance Matters, Woody worked in the business intelligence tools market. Woody graduated with a B.S. from the University of Central Florida.
- Woody grew up in Kansas and was mauled by a tumbleweed in 5th grade.
- In his younger days, he was a Jungle Cruise Skipper at Disney.
James Waters co-founded Performance Matters with Woody Dillaha in 2003. Performance Matters established a culture of technical innovation and a passion for education. His technical vision has established Performance Matters as a leader in the K-12 education market and has been the catalyst for the sustained growth and profitability of the company. James is well known and respected within the education community as a thought leader in technology and particularly open standards. Prior to Performance Matters, James focused most of his career as a consultant and sales engineer for business intelligence tools – marrying complex business requirements with technical realities specific to the K-12 market. James graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of West Florida.
