Headed to the Learning Forward 2016 Annual Conference this week? Don’t miss an interactive evening exploring the design thinking approach to professional development!
We’re hosting the most upbeat, invigorating, interactive 90 minutes at the Learning Forward Conference, and we’d love for you to join us. Melissa Pelochino, Director of Professional Development for the K12 Lab Network at the Stanford d.school, will lead an engaging collaborative session focusing on learning about empathy tools you can use to understand your users. Empathy is a crucial step to designing and innovating a more personalized professional learning environment. With activities like empathy mapping, what if…, “let’s plan a party,” and storyboarding, this unique event will cover the gamut from brainstorming to testing ideas and reflecting on the experience. All event attendees will walk away with their own design playbook on tactics and methods for personalized professional learning design. And every educator knows that nothing goes better with learning than delicious food, so there will be tasty hors d’oeuvres and adult beverages provided!
If you’re in town for the conference, make sure you stop by!
